Dear User,
You are weird and your data is gross. I want nothing to do with it.
Respectfully,

Developer
For Den on Mac, iPhone and iPad
Den’s developer does not collect your library, reading history, or AI requests from the app. Some features process data using Apple’s services, as described below.
Sync functionality depends on storage services provided by Apple. See the iCloud Data Security Overview to learn more.
Den uses Apple Intelligence through Apple’s Foundation Models framework. Article summaries are generated on your device. Explore Feeds and Analyst use Apple’s Private Cloud Compute, which processes requests on Apple servers.
- Explore Feeds: Den sends the interests you enter and a limited list of website domains you already follow or that were already tried, so the model can suggest other sites. Den then contacts suggested websites and feeds to check that they work.
- Analyst: Den sends article text and details, your questions, and conversation context to generate assessments and replies. Analyst can also search your Den articles and bookmarks and include the resulting details and text in its requests.
Apple states that data processed by Private Cloud Compute is used only to fulfill your request, is not retained after processing, and is not accessible to Apple.
To avoid sending AI requests to Private Cloud Compute, leave Explore Feeds and Analyst unused.
Den saves Analyst conversations and model interaction history in your library so you can revisit them; they sync through iCloud. Clearing a conversation removes it from view and resets the context used for future replies.
The operating system may share crash and usage data if you have enabled “Share with app developers” in Settings > Analytics & Improvements.
The app loads and displays internet content. The article viewer provides full web access. Websites may contain elements designed to track your browsing behavior. Only subscribe to feeds you trust and practice safe browsing habits.
