For Publishers
Make your feeds shine by following a few simple guidelines.
Feed Metadata
The title and images included in the RSS, Atom, or JSON source is preferred. The application will periodically check the feed homepage to attempt to fill in gaps. For example, if an appropriate banner image is not found in the feed, it will look for a social image on the homepage to use instead.
Images
The application looks for images first in feed entry metadata then entry description/summary content.
In any case, providing an accurate image width and height will greatly improve how images are displayed in the application. When width and height is provided images will be displayed at the maximum possible size. Otherwise, images are constrained to a 16:9 frame.
Description/Summary Content
Summary content is limited to a subset of HTML and style attributes are filtered.
