There are many ways to subscribe to feeds.
- Subscribe directly by opening RSS links or entering URLs in the app.
- Use the feed explorer to find feeds related to your interests.
- Import an OPML file to bring in subscriptions from another app.
- Reveal available feeds while browsing with the Safari extension.

Tap the More button at the top of the sidebar, then tap New Channel.
Enter a website or feed URL
Select or confirm the feed
Optional: Configure channel settings
Explore feeds
Explore Feeds suggests sites based on your interests using Apple Intelligence through Apple’s Private Cloud Compute. Availability varies by language and region, and Apple’s service availability and usage limits apply. See Apple’s requirements and Den’s privacy policy for availability and the data sent for processing.
Add channels for discovered sites
Import OPML
Tap the More button, tap Import OPML, then choose the file. Channels are not automatically fetched after importing.
Reveal feeds in Safari
The Safari extension examines metadata on webpages to find available feeds. When a page advertises feeds, the extension button shows how many. Tap the button to see them, then tap Add to Den to open the New Channel sheet with the feed filled in.
Enable the extension
In the Settings app, go to Apps, then Safari, then Extensions, and turn on Den for Readers.
Check webpages for feeds
The extension only reads pages you have allowed it on. To have the button light up as you browse, choose Always Allow on Every Website when Safari asks.
